Cadac Skottel Braai Gas BBQ

Cadac's portable gas barbecues can be divided into three sizes, 28 cm, 37 cm and 47 cm, providing a wide range of grilling options no matter the number of people needed to be cooked for or the space available to stow away the packed the barbecue into.

All these three sizes of Cadac portable gas barbecue, the Safari Chef LP - diameter 28 cm, the Grill O Gas - diameter 37cm , and the Carri Chef/Skottel Braai – diameter 47 cm can be powered from a flexible range of different gas sources when the correct hose and regulator have been purchased to use in conjunction with them.

All of the three sizes are easy to assemble for use and dis-assemble for transit and storage so will all be delivered with carry bag to pack the barbecues into to minimise their size when packed away with, in most cases, the leg set strapping to the outside of the bag.

The Cadac Skottel Braai is perfect for cooking a wide variety of outdoor meals including traditional breakfasts, paella, sausages, eggs, stir fries and many other dishes being a development from the original use by South African farmers of a blunt ploughshare, and later an oil drum, over a fire to cook an outdoor meal

Exceptionally portable, versatile and robust, the Skottel Braai weighs under 6kgs, including a Skottel dish which is coated in hard vitreous enamel combined with stainless steel fixed handles.

The Cadac Skottel Braai can be powered from a number of power sources such as refillable Patio or Camping Gaz bottles, disposable EN417 gas canisters or connected directly into a caravan's or motor home's gas supply depending on which, separately purchasable, hose and regulator is used

The Cadac Skottel Braai comes complete with a tripod designed for lightness, stability and portability. For easy storage and portability, the legs fold up and pack into an included carry bag, while the Skottel top packs into a separate included carry bag.
