A true natural product The mixing spoon is made out of local cherry wood, and then oiled. Oiling gives cherry wood its characteristic reddish colouring – which enhances the distinctive grain even more. This grain makes every spoon unique and can thus differ from our illustration.

Care tips Wood is a natural material and can crack under extreme conditions. This is why you should not let the Petromax spoon soak in water for a long period of time, but rather thoroughly clean it with warm water and cleaning powder. Then stand it on end and let it air-dry.

In order to enjoy your Petromax wooden spoon for a long time, follow these instructions: If oiling diminishes due to use and cleaning, you can rub hot, flavourless vegetal oil or paraffin oil (paraffinum perliquidum) into the spoon. Let it soak in over night and rub surplus oil off. You can repeat this treatment on a regular basis.
