The Monolith Fire Plate Giant Plancha - .55 models is a massive 8 mm thick steel fire plate with a diameter of 740mm can simply be placed on top of the open Monolith .66 or Classic grill enabling a Monolith grill to be turned into a plancha or teppanyaki-style grill with different temperature zones with the heat being regulated by the dual-disc ventilation cap.

An initial burn-in is recommended prior to the first use as best results are achieve on the Monolith Fire Plate - Classic after oil has been burnt into the Fire Plate
