All their experience of charcoal grilling gained over the last 60 plus years combined with extensive customer feedback has now been used leading to the introduction of the next generation Weber Master-Touch GBS SE range of charcoal barbecues so while the distinctive Weber charcoal kettle design may look very familiar a whole new raft of features have been introduced so that the new Master-Touch is even better, and more versatile, both to barbecue and live with.


The heart of the Weber Master-Touch GBS SE sits a stainless steel Gourmet BBQ System cooking grate which can be used as a regular cooking grate or by simply lifting out the 30cm middle section and replacing it with one of the five interchangeable accessories; wok, sear grate, griddle, pizza stone or poultry roaster, all of which can be purchased separately, to greatly enhance the versatility of the grilling, roasting or baking options available far beyond what you would expect from a charcoal barbecue.

There is plenty of grilling area remaining around the outer rim for grilling when the Gourmet BBQ System Grate accessories are being used as the total cooking grate area is 2552cm², providing plenty of space to allow for direct and indirect grilling, which is more than adequate for a family or friends to enjoy a barbecue in the garden, on a beach or wherever the adventures takes you

The easy to use Tuck-Away lid holder gives a handy, always there, easy to access place to put the lid when taken off the kettle as the lid slides neatly into the Tuck-Away lid holder which also doubles up as a windshield and heat deflecter when either lighting the coals or moving food around on the grates. No more more looking around for a flat surface and having to leave the lid 4 metres away from the grill.

At the base of the kettle of the sits the stainless steel One-Touch cleaning system plus an improved rust-proof removable ash catcher which are both key features in making the barbecue so simple to clean and maintain when compared to most other charcoal barbecues as well as stopping hot embers and ash blowing onto decking or patios. The ash catcher incorporates a simple to operate venting system to regulate airflow including a Low and Slow settng for perfect airflow when smoking.

Just slide the One-Touch Cleaning system handle from side to side moves three stainless steel blades within the kettle making ashes to drop into the ash catcher beneath the kettle which then can removed by lifting and sliding to one side to when the ashes and embers have cooled down then simply reverse the procedure to put back.

Below the ash catcher of Weber Master-Touch® GBS SE there is a useful shelf suspended between the legs for keeping utensils and accessories to hand when grilling as well all weather wheels with kettle covers so the barbecue can be easily moved around to the ideal spot for grilling where ever that may be. Conveniently utensils and accessories can also be kept in easy reach when grilling using the tool holders integrated into the weather proof handles on the side of the bowl of the kettle.

The lid of the Weber Master-Touch GBS SE is designed to be kept in place whenever the barbecue is in use to create ideal grilling conditions and has a weather-proof handle with protective heat shield as well as a built-in lid mounted thermometer and a rust-proof aluminium vent which regulates the air flow and temperature under the lid for grilling happiness everytime

The build quality of the Weber Master-Touch GBS SE is everything we have come to expect from a Weber Charcoal grill as the lid and bowl are made from high quality American steel with a porcelain enamelled coating, a powder coating which is fired onto the steel at approx 800°C to give a shiny coating which is sturdy enough to handle all types of weather conditions allowing the enjoyment of barbecuing all year round.
