A Kasai Konro Robata Rack for Little Kasai Grill will take cooking on a Kasai Grill to a new level it give the capability to adjust the distance between the food and the heat source so a mixture of types of food can all be cooked, or rested, at the same time instead of only controlling the temperature on the Kasai Grill.
To get the best out of the Robata Rack ensure that the charcoal is at the highest temperature as possible and keep the coals constantly glowing. Meats and vegetables, which need to be crisped up and need the heat, will be cooked directly over the coals, while the middle and upper levels will be ideal for slower cooks or light smokings. Using a three tier approach meats can be charred to perfection on the base level, lifted up to cook through and finally lifted higher to rest. The height of the 2 stainless steel shelves can then be further adjusted to ensure the ideal temperature and space between the shelves to suit whatever is being cooked.
The very top level of a Robata Rack is fantastic for resting foods with it's low exposure to heat wth the middle shelf also fantastic for slow cooking larger pieces of meat.
