At the heart of the Summit is Solo Stove's innovative Quick-Strike Base Plate, engineered to make starting a wood fire quicker and easier. Its channels help distribute your fire starter beneath the logs for reliable ignition, whether you're using traditional kindling or pairing the fire pit with Solo Stove Fire Starter Gel. For the best performance, Solo Stove recommends starting with three to four dry split logs arranged in a log-cabin formation.

Once the fire is established, Solo Stove's upgraded 360-degree airflow system and secondary burn technology work together to re-burn smoke before it can escape. The result is a cleaner-burning fire with significantly less smoke than a traditional wood-burning fire pit. Lower-profile side walls also provide a more open view of the flames, helping the Summit produce an immersive fireside experience with a tall, bright flame.

Manufactured from premium stainless steel, the Summit 19.5 is corrosion resistant and built for years of outdoor use. An integrated stand raises the fire pit away from the surface beneath it, allowing it to be used across a variety of suitable outdoor surfaces. As with any fire pit, the surface must still be capable of withstanding high temperatures and the fire pit should always be positioned safely away from combustible materials and overhead structures.

Cleaning after the fire has completely cooled is straightforward thanks to the removable base plate and tool-free ash pan. Simply lift out the components, empty the collected ash and replace them ready for your next gathering.
