The Fontana Gusto Wood Fired Outdoor Oven is the original portable wood-burning oven which was introduced in 1978 by the Fontana family and still in use across Italy by families who love to gather outdoors for deliciously prepared meals.

Today it continues to be one of their best-selling ovens as it combines the beautiful Italian design with both versatility and functionality.

The Fontana Gusto Wood Fired Outdoor Oven can be used to prepare brick-oven pizza, bread, roasts, chicken, vegetables and more as there are no limits with the Gusto - if you can imagine it, you can cook it to perfection.

The Fontana Gusto Wood Fired Outdoor Oven is built with a mix of stainless steel and anthracite painted steel on its exterior containing a cooking chamber with three levels made of stainless steel and refractory plates. A full 12 centimeters insulation surrounds the cooking chamber to maximise heat retention and cooking efficiency with the oven being so well insulated that the exterior is safe to the touch while at cooking temperature plus it includes a stainless steel chimney damper and a sliding cooking chamber damper for maximum heat retention and precise temperature control.

The innovative dual chambered design directs heat from the fire chamber around the cooking chamber providing consistent and even temperature for optimal cooking. The convection controlled cooking chamber has multiple racks allowing you to cook several dishes at once. The cooking chamber has three levels made of stainless steel and refractory plates, has double ventilation and lighting, and is equipped with thermometer and timer plus includes grills, pans, a stainless steel chimney, worktops on the side and front, and tools for the fire.

The Fontana Gusto Wood Fired Outdoor Oven features a solid-welded construction with 2.5 millimeter of 304 and 441 stainless steel reinforced with a 5-millimeter Corten steel panel and heavy-duty cast iron doors with plus metals are electro-galvanized before powder-coating providing superb protection against corrosion to give many years of durable, rust-free performance.

Fontana ovens are delivered on one film-wrapped pallet complete with printed assembly instructions and can weigh up to 200 kilos. Fontana ovens are delivered assembled but the carts for Fontana ovens will required assembly. We recommend that two people are required to position Fontana ovens either on to their carts or on to the structure where they will be positioned in use.


Fontana Forni's transport providers will deliver your Fontana oven to the nearest vehicular access point at the delivery address and are under no obligation to transport the oven or any of its components any nearer to the desired location at the delivery address.

Small parcel orders will be despatched using DPD LOCAL who will provide email and SMS updates, giving you the option to amend or reschedule your delivery.

Large barbecue deliveries weighing over 30kg will be despatched with a pallet delivery company.
