Simply add or subtract one of the two stackers included with the ProQ Frontier Charcoal BBQ Smoker - Version 4.0 for true versatility. When fully stacked cooking can be carred out on two levels with the waterpan used as a heat deflector between the fire and the food, enabling the control of the cooking temperature, perfect for both hot and fast or low'n slow barbecuing with this setup most common for larger cuts of meat where slow cooking is called for such as brisket, pulled pork, ribs or hot smoked salmon. The single stacker configuration is a handy set up option to slow cook or smoke food just the same as two stackers, but it's especially useful when cooking smaller quantities. Inserting an empty water pan allows the smoker to be used like a conventional oven to roast food with the extra delicious BBQ flavour or fully remove the waterpan for regular charcoal grilling. Without any stackers a super portable small charcoal kettle BBQ is created making it perfect for burgers, sausages and kebabs for adventures at the beach, festivals or camping trips.
