The Weber Portable Chimney Starter is a real must have for the owner of any smaller Charcoal Barbecue – Weber recommend it for use with barbecues up to and including 47cm plus it is ideal for use with the Weber Go-Anywhere,Smokey Joe, 47cm Compact or any other similar sized charcoal barbecue.
If you only ever buy one accessory for your Weber Charcoal barbecue The Weber Chimney Starter should be the one due to it's ability to get coals or briquettes up to cooking temperature more rapidly with a more even heat distribution for more efficient use of the coals or briquettes. Foods can be cooked quicker and more efficiently using less fuel with better results with less expenditure on fuel.
Fill the chimney with coals or briquettes stand on the charcoal grate of the barbecue and light a fire lighter, or paper, underneath and in 20 minutes you will have hot, glowing coals ready to cook in half the time it takes without using the chimney.
Please note that the Chimney Starter may bend during transit. Due to the flexible nature of the product, this can be bent back into shape and used normally. Replacements will not be sent.
