Weber Spirit Classic E220 takes Weber's stylish Spirit Classic E210 and adds a side burner creating an ideal barbecue for making the transition from charcoal to gas grilling being a good looking, stylish barbecue that is functional, easy to live,easy to use with little fuss needed to get it up and running that has all been achieved with out any compromises on the build quality and grilling performance – which is exactly what you would expect from a Weber barbecue.

The compact size of the Weber Spirit Classic E220 and ease with which it can be moved around with it's two large wheels and two locking castors, makes it an ideal for use in smaller spaces or where the barbecue needs to be stowed away between grilling sessions.

Ruggedly constructed to take the punishment which is definitely going to happen over a long grilling life the Weber Spirit Classic E220 is built from a powder coated steel frame on which sits the tough and durable Porcelain-enamelled cook box containing hard working and easy to look after stainless steel burners, Porcelain-enamelled Flavorizer Bars and Porcelain-enamelled steel cooking grates that are all designed for a combination of performance and durabilty.

The lid of the Weber Spirit Classic E220 has a solid full width handle making it easier to lift and has an easy to read central thermometer so grilling conditions can be observed with out having to lift the lid too often. Underneath the lid there is a convenient warming rack which sits over the Porcelain-enamelled cooking grates gates that make up the large 2323cm² cooking area.

Located below the Porcelain-enamelled steel cooking grates are porcelain-enamelled Flavorizer bars, that can be easily removed for cleaning and maintenance, which are designed to vapourise cooking juices or residues which fall through the cooking grates onto them to recycle the vapours back up into the cook box to add extra flavour to the food being cooked on the grates. The Flavorizer Bars also minimise the likelihood of flare ups by preventing those cooking residues from falling directly onto the stainless steel burners as well as protecting the two burners that sit below them.

The Porcelain-enamelled cooking grates and Porcelain-enamelled Flavorizer bars are available to purchase as replacement parts for when they become tired and the performance of the grill begins to lose it's edge.
At the front of the cook box of the Weber Spirit Classic E220 is the control panel for the barbecue with it's Crossover Ignition System, which will fire up both burners at the same time, and two infinite control burner valve dials which allow the gas flow to each of the two burners to be regulated independently for total control over grilling.

The side table to the left as you look at the grill contains a side burner with a protective lid with it's own separate controls located below the side table. The side burner widens the scope of what can be cooked on the grill being ideal for preparing sauces or simmering while the protective lid means that the side table can be used for food preparation or condiments when the side burner is not in use.

Due to it's fixed side tables the Weber Premium Cover For Spirit 300 Series - 7101 is the correct sized cover to fit this barbecue not the Weber Premium Cover For Spirit 200 Series - 7100 for use with Spirit 200 models with fold away side tables.

On the front of the cart of the Weber Spirit Classic E220 there is a distinctive Weber Kettle branded screen which is a good looking way to conceal whatever utensils or accessories that need to be stored underneath the barbecue as well as a 5kg Patio Gas bottle that can be used within the the cart. The larger sized 13kg Patio Gas bottles will need to stand under the side table when grilling with the hose going into the barbecue through the hole on the barbecue side.

The screen also hides away the disposable drip tray which catches any excess cooking fats which are made during a grilling session so they can simply be discarded. Further drip trays are available to purchase as an extra.

Further convenient storage is available for utensils on the six tool holders that are on the sides of the two folding tables when the barbecue is in use.

The Weber Spirit Classic E220 has a 10-year limited warranty on the porcelain-enamelled lid and cast aluminium components, with 10 years on the burners and 5 years on the cooking grates and two years on all other parts and components.
