The Grillstream Gourmet 4 Burner Island Hybrid with Steak Shelf - Stainless Steel Gas BBQ features the unique, easy to use new Hybrid System from Grillstream which gives the freedom to cook on either gas or charcoal at the twist of a knob without the fuss of having to make any adjustments the barbecue.

Charcoal trays simply sit over the burners underneath the Grillstream cooking grates which can be filled with charcoal briquettes, lit with the gas burners, then be used to cook like a conventional charcoal BBQ. When the charcoal burns out either refill the trays or continue cooking using the gas. When not filled with briquettes the trays act as a flame tamer diffusing heat evenly to the whole cooking surface with the convenience of a gas

All the Grillstream Gourmet range of gas barbecues feature such design touches as stylish shaped side shelves,independent Twist-on back-lit LED control knobs,and an overall sleek and ergonomic design which all contribute to the all round fantastic looks of the Grillstream Gourmet range.

The Grillstream Gourmet 4 Burner Island includes a rotisserie kitwhich makes a great addition for widening the cooking options available on the barbecue to include roasting poultry or joints of meat.

The Grillstream Gourmet range also offer larger cooking areas, upgraded and re-designed frames for additional, improved stability, meaning that cabinet doors will be flush fitting, plus the unique “flare free” Grillstream double grill system that can be found in all Grillstream grills.

On all Grillstream grill's the unique patented U-shaped double grills, one grill sits directly over the top of another, are designed to ensure that there is less fat, no flare ups and to give more flavour to whatever is being cooked on the grill

With a non Grillstream grill the fat drips down onto the burners causing flare ups which both burn the food and taint it's flavours, but on Grillstream grills fat dripping down from the top grill is then captured by a second grill chanelling it away into a separate fat cup.

This means that with a Grillstream cooking grate a far higher percentage of the cooking juices evaporate back into the cook box to infuse the meat with the distinctive barbecue flavours and taste whilst keeping it moister and extra succulent.

On the Grillstream as less fat drips down into the barbecue it make it simpler to clean as that all that needs to be done is to empty the fat cup and brush down the grills with a barbecue cleaning brush minimising the likelihood of grease fires caused by accumulated fat build ups catching light.
