Primo’s Oval Design gives more control when cooking foods that require different temperatures and locations to the natural lump charcoal. This is commonly referred to as “two-zone” cooking and it’s the ability to simultaneously cook with direct and indirect heat - similar to turning off half the burners on a gas grill, but the extremely efficient cooking abilities of a Primo Oval will offer all the flavour of a natural wood fire.

The ceramic used to construct a Primo Oval Ceramic grills is composed with a proprietary blend of natural materials to make the highest grade of ceramics available for superior heat and moisture retention using less fuel and reducing cooking times. The ceramic shell helps food retain its natural moisture so the combination of Primo's premium-grade ceramics plus natural lumpwood charcoal will create amazingly juicy food with the true charcoal flavours.

A Primo Oval Ceramic grill can be ready to cook in as little as 15 minutes, which is roughly the same time it takes to preheat a gas grill so cook as low as 65c to smoke a salmon or to well over 450c for sizzling steaks.
